113th Administration Executive Council Goals

STUDENT ADVOCACY

  • Reestablish the S.A.F.E. Center Committees to provide the center with fundraising assistance, increase outreach efforts, and further encourage and bring awareness to the mission of the S.A.F.E. Center.
  • Establish a transportation service for student shadowing at the local hospital to increase accessibility and safety.
  • Improve guidelines and increase transparency within the Financial Aid Committee to ensure that all student organizations are provided with an opportunity to apply for extra funding.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

  • Spearhead a university-wide annual Conversation Series to provide students with opportunities to learn from and converse with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strengthen service-oriented programs like Battle of the Bands, end-of-year donation bins, and the Saving the Tides program to foster a deeper connection between the university and the broader community.
  • Foster communication between The University of Alabama student body and the Greater Tuscaloosa area to increase knowledge and build relationships.

INTERNAL ENHANCEMENTS

  • Focus on enhancing engagement within the SGA and across the university by fostering collaborative relationships among students, faculty, and staff.
  • Increase safety within Block Seating to ensure that students and organizations are provided with a safe and enjoyable environment for football games.
  • Improve transparency between the student body and SGA through Bama Asks tabling, increased communication regarding block seating, and Hi! Tide Day(s)
