Student Organization Seating

Timeline

To participate in UA’s Student Organizations Seating Program and secure block seating, your organization must have a representative attend at least one of the four required information sessions:

  • April 26, 2026 at 5:00pm CST
  • May 20, 2026 at 10:00am CST
  • June 3, 2026 at 10:00am CST
  • June 17, 2026 at 5:00pm CST

Your completed application, including contracts and video application, must be submitted by July 19th, 11:59pm CST.

The SGA Board of Governors will meet to review and grade applications July 20-24. Organizations will select their block July 27-29. Selections will be conducted in rank order.

Video Presentation Guidelines

Student organizations that are seeking student organization seating are required to submit a video presentation highlighting their organization’s contributions and impact. This video serves as an opportunity to demonstrate organizations’ safety in Bryant-Denny, value to the gameday experience, wellness, leadership, and philanthropy.  

Video Requirements

Videos must be 90 to 180 seconds long (1.5 to 3 minutes) and include the organization’s President and at least one additional member. Videos must be created independently without the use of professional cameras or production crews.  Members of the SGA Executive Council or Cabinet may not represent their organization.

Key Themes to Address

While not required, organizations are strongly encouraged to use the following guiding questions to shape their presentation and ensure all evaluation criteria are addressed. Organizations are also highly encouraged to include a presentation highlighting key achievements, statistics, past SOS photos, or events to showcase real examples of involvement and impact. Organizations also must ensure all audio and visuals are clear and easy to understand. 

  • Safety: How does/has your organization actively promote a safe, respectful, and sportsmanlike environment on gameday? 
  • Leadership: In what ways are your members involved in leadership roles across campus or beyond? 
  • Philanthropy/Service: How have your organization’s service or philanthropic initiatives created meaningful impacts? 
  • Wellness: How does your organization promote the wellbeing and overall support of its members and others during the gameday experience? 
  • Gameday Experience: How does your presence enhance the gameday experience of the university (e.g., on camera, crowd engagement, traditions)?
