Application Requirements

  • Organizations MUST be registered with the Source.
  • Organizations MUST have one representative attend one of the four informational meetings.
  • Organizations may apply for a maximum of 4 rows, approximately 40 students per row. If an organization has fewer than 40 members, they have the option of submitting a Joint Application or waiting to opt into the Rotating Block.

Application Process

  • The application will include a spreadsheet with members’ names and Crimson email addresses, in addition to their Video Presentations.
    • Graduated seniors from the spring semester of 2026 CAN be included in the organization’s name and email spreadsheet for this upcoming term.
  • Applications will be submitted through UA Box on the SGA website.

Joint Applications

  • If organizations have fewer than 40 members and want to apply to receive season-long seating, they may apply jointly with another organization.
  • The two organizations will choose the joint application options on the UA Box application and submit one application together.
  • The orgs. will submit a combined number of names, divided between them at their own discretion.
    • For example, if two organizations are applying for 1 row, they can submit 15 names from Org. 1 and 25 names from Org. 2.
  • The video presentation will be split between the two organizations, allocating time in the video to present all aspects of the grading criteria for both organizations. These organizations may collectively determine how they want to display their commitments towards each of these categories.

Video Criteria

Please view the 5 grading categories at the SOS webpage under “Key Themes to Address”

Organization Preferential Choosing Process

  • The total score for each eligible organization will be scored out of 100.
  • This score will be used to rank the organizations for the preferential choosing process.
  • Each organization will have time for a representative to join a virtual meeting so every organization can select its preferred seating location in rank order, with the highest-scoring applicants selecting first.
    • The number of rows each organization applied for shall be the maximum number of rows that organization may select.
    • When selecting rows, all rows must be in the same section and must be consecutively numbered.
  • Once an organization has indicated and confirmed its preferred location, no other organization may select the same allocated area.

Wristband Pickup

  • Wristbands will be available for pickup in the SGA office every Wednesday-Thursday before a home game.
  • More information regarding wristband pick-up will be released in the fall.

Sober Monitors

  • The safety and dynamic fan atmosphere in the student section at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium is a priority for SGA. As a result, each organization must designate TWO Sober Monitors to partner with us in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
  • Contact information for sober monitors MUST be presented at the time of SOS wristband pickup.
