TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Student Government Association (SGA) is excited to announce the launch of the Legends Punch Card, a new initiative that rewards students who were named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List or President’s List with exclusive discounts and deals from local businesses. Fulfilling one of SGA President Lucy Bonhaus’ campaign promises, the Legends Punch Card celebrates academic achievement while strengthening ties between the University of Alabama student body and the Tuscaloosa community. After weeks of outreach and collaboration, 28 local businesses partnered with SGA to make this program possible. Participating businesses include:
Lou & Co., Homewood Bagel Company, Poppin’ Sisters Popcorn and Treats, The Trunk, Innisfree Irish Pub, Balancing Breath Yoga & Mindfulness Studio, Peterbrooke Chocolatier, Hoo’s Q and Brew, Swag, Turbo Coffee Roasters, 20/59 Restaurant & Bar, Jake’s Soulfood Cafe, Crimson Japanese Grill, The Peach Cobbler Factory, Scooter’s Coffee, Central Mesa, River, The Shift Shop, SoCal Cantina, Glam Salon and Blow Dry Bar, PopStroke, Wagners RunWalk, Alabama Peanut Co., Lucca Boutique, Moutain High Outfitters, TuscNY Hand Built Pizza & Pasta, Dreamz Cafe, and The Station Sandwiches & Pizza.
Students can pick up their Legends Punch Card at the SGA office, located in the Student Center, at the following times:
- Wednesday, Sept. 24: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 29: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 1: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
SGA is willing to host more opportunities for students to pick up their Legends Punch Cards if there is student interest.
