UA SGA Hosts Wellness Week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Student Government Association is hosting
Wellness Week, a week-long initiative dedicated to promoting student health and well-being
during dead week. Wellness will feature events and resources to support students mental,
physical, and emotional health.

Throughout the week, students are invited to participate in a variety of events aimed at
promoting a culture of wellness on campus. The events of the week are as follows:

  • 12/1 – Career Day: Career Center Partnership
  • 12/2 – Psychological day: End overdose prevention in the Student Center Forum at 6 p.m.
  • 12/3 – Gratitude Day: Puppy Break on the Student Center Lawn from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • 12/4 – Physical Day: UA HYdrates Day at Student Center Plaza, Gorgas, North Lawn,
  • and Hewson Hall from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • 12/4 – Physical Day: Movement Moment in the Student Center Room 2048, 11 a.m. to 1p.m.
  • 12/5 – Academic Day: Swiss Miss and Study Tips at the Student Center Front Doors from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • 12/6 – Spiritual Day: Asynchronous Activities
  • 12/7 – Financial Day: Credit Union Video Tour

These activities are designed to provide students with accessible opportunities to learn, connect,
