Tuscaloosa, AL – The Student Organization Seating assignments for the Fall 2024 Football Season have been finalized. The map can be found on the Student Government Association (SGA) website’s Student Organization Seating page, Instagram and Facebook.
“With over twenty new organizations applying, this application cycle was extremely competitive,” said SGA Vice President for Student Affairs Lucy Bonhaus. “I am excited to award all of our student organizations that took part in the application process this year an opportunity to come together in Bryant Denny to cheer on the Tide!”
Organizations were graded based upon their applications and the rubric below:
- 34% of the grade came from the grade point averages of the CWID numbers that each organization submits.
- 33% of the grade came from the organization’s interview.
- 11% of the grade came from DEI Passport.
- 11% of the grade came from Tide Loyalty Points.
- 11% of the grade came from Bama Pulse service hours.
This year, two rotating blocks will be utilized totaling 66 seats. The map also indicates the addition of the “Crimson Block” for the 2024 season. Organizations that applied for less than twenty seats will be awarded the opportunity to be seated in this new block at one of the seven home games. These organizations will be eligible to apply for the rotating blocks on games they are not awarded the Crimson Block.
All presidents of student organizations receiving block seating are required to attend one safety meeting. These meetings are scheduled to take place on:
- Sunday August 25 at 5 p.m. – Zoom link
- Monday August 26 at 5 p.m. – Zoom link
- Tuesday August 27 at 5 p.m. – Zoom link
