- Push for class fees to transparently include all necessary resources to prevent unexpected costs.
Platform Points:
Additionally, I aim to:
- Organize networking workshops and student feedback forums for the Human Environmental Science school.
- Advocate for mental health resources, ensuring accessibility and active engagement.
- Increase student engagement through a Human Environmental Science Get On Board Day (GOBD) to promote major-based clubs.
My leadership, advocacy, and public speaking skills make me a strong candidate for this role.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Tiana Carenza
My name is Tiana Carenza, and I am a freshman in the College of Education, majoring in kinesiology on the pre-med track. Beyond my academics, I serve proudly as the philanthropy chairwoman for Gamma Phi Beta, where I lead initiatives supporting the cause “Building Strong Girls”, and “Girls on the Run.” I am also an active member of four clubs here on campus that have deepened my connection to our diverse student body.
I am running for Senate to bring new, innovative ideas to the College of Education and serve as a voice for my fellow peers. I believe in creating a collaborative environment where every student feels included, supported, and empowered.

My platform focuses mainly on social media to improve communication, and build stronger connections between students, organizations, and resources. By utilizing these platforms effectively, we can keep students informed, highlight achievements, and create a more unified community within the College of Education.
Together, we can shape a future that embraces innovation, celebrates diversity, and ensures that every student has the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. I would be honored to represent you in the SGA Senate and make our vision for the College of Education a reality.
