Student Government Association Hosts Spring “Hi, Tide” Day to Welcome Students Back to Campus

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — January 8, 2026 — The University of Alabama Student Government Association (SGA) is welcoming students back to campus with its biannual “Hi, Tide” Day, an engagement event designed to connect students with SGA and campus resources at the start of the semester.

The spring “Hi, Tide” Day will take place Monday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center tabling area near the food court. Throughout the event, students will have the opportunity to meet their SGA, say “hi,” and connect with fellow students to kick off the spring semester.

Complimentary hot chocolate will be available for attendees while supplies last.
